Heard joke once: Man goes into doctor. Says he's depressed. Says life seems harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in a threatening world where what lies ahead is vague and uncertain. Doctor says "Treatment is simple. Great clown Pagliacci is in town tonight. Go and see him. That should pick you up." Man bursts into tears. Says "But, Doctor...I am Pagliacci." Good joke. Everybody laugh. Roll on snare drum. Curtains.

I really feel for Eggman. Sonic and his friends foil EVERYTHING he tries to do, and it's agonizingly painful enough to start warping his thought processes. I feel the same way, too...

Well, enough of my depression for today. I really like Box's coloring job on this one, don't you? His color choices are much more robust than mine, and his shading work brings a whole new dimension to the lineart! Kudos to you, man! :D

Here's a fun fact for y'all: the bottom-left panel (with Grounder & Scratch) wasn't originally a part of Guybrush's script. While I was making this one, I accidentally added an extra panel, so I had to improvise another Rorschach test... so it was either this or an abstraction of a PINGAS.

Ah the Rorschach test, the old psychiatry standby. We actually had disscussions on how much the blobs should look like what Eggman sees. This is the first comic with coloring by Box and the word bubbles added by me. So sorry for covering it all up with my oversized text.

On a more serious note, Edd Gould creator of the Eddsworld animation series and comics passed away recently. He was one of the people who inspired me to do funny on the internet and he will be missed. RIP Edd.

Oh hoh hoh, boy. Let's talk about COLORS. My color choices are often much deeper and possibly more subdued that Gigas, mostly because I don't believe in pure colors. By which I mean, every color I choose has some portion of black and grey mixed into it, I never do a pure green, only a dull green, I never do a pure white, only a light grey, I never do a pure black, only a dark grey. This helps make everything feel darker and more realistic. The only exceptions are the eyes. This shading is actually really simple, just blobs of black with a gaussian blur added.
And as a fun fact, when coloring I thought Gardevoir was holding a manual of sorts which is for a later comic (in fact I think its next week's). But everything worked out okay.

Guybrush, what the heck are you talking about? That was far from being a "discussion."

Giga: "Hey, Guybrush! Do you want the cards to look like an actual Rorschach test?"
Guybrush: "lol whatever"
Giga: ( ಠ_ಠ)

With Eggman's track record, I would prescribe a mild sedative... or arsenic. He would likely be filthy rich if he calmed down, stopped building war machines, and worked on public service robots.

First of, thx for making these comics, and great job on them, you rock. Second, a question: what does Eggman see in the fourth ink blot exactly (story of my life)? Thx
