Adeline is one of those minor Kirby Charaters that was mostly forgotten after her debut in Kirby 64 (still my favourite of the series. Her problem is when she has a "blue period" everyone else can feel it too. No wonder Dark Matter brainwashed her in Level 2.

Buck up Adeline, if rumors hold water, you may get your time in the sun again. (I hope Isaac Clarke is still on call.)

Onge again, we see how the fandom adapts Kirby characters into nightmare fuel.

The Kirby franchise is a little weird for me. Kirby's my favorite video game character of all time, and he's also my Smash 4 main, but I've only played 4 games of the series: Epic Yarn, Return to Dreamland, Mass Attack, and Triple Deluxe, all the "early 2010s" games. I've heard great praise for Kirby 64, but it was before my time, I guess.

"Fandom"? Have you ever paid attention to any Kirby final boss? That game is Lovecraft in pink.

Oh yeah, good point. I think as I was writing that comment my brain was trying to protect me by blocking out memories of the nightmare fuel that Magolor alone created.

Kirby himself is a whole truck of fridge horror.

His main form of attack is to consume his foes and either spit them out at other enemies or consume them to make their power his own. In games like Super Star, his companions are created from the power he previously consumed. Kirby can also unmake this living being into an inert item.

Brawl in the Family also showed some of the more horrifying things Kirby could consume, all the while keeping that cheery disposition we all know and love.

Squeak Squad made it worse. You know those inert items that you can turn companions into? Well, with the bubble power, Kirby can store up to 5 of these items within the void that is his belly. The bubble power allows you to turn enemies into bubbled items without needing to consume them first. Imagine being a Sir Kibble, just living your life, doing your job when you see this pink...thing with bubbles on it's head. It waves a wand at you. Bubbles fly out of it. You think that the bubbles cannot harm you, so you let one hit you. The rest is darkness and you know no more.

Also, WOW, 250 comics. Out of all the webcomics I've read that have impressed me even half as much as this one, this is the only one that is still going. Thanks to all the artists, and here's to another great 250.

Reminds me of that old tale of the boy with the same power who tricked a greedy emperor by deserting him onto an island he painted filled with nothing but gold and riches and no way off.

I think the art in this page is really good. Really great job.
But I have to disagree and say Kirby Superstar is THE best Kirby game.

I was actually thinking about doing a comic for Kirby star allies. Where Kirby, Dedede, meta knight, and bandanna dee find the dream palace (or fountain whichever it is) then meta knight explains how to use it, Kirby remembers something from many people, gooey, rick kine and koo, Marx, mangalor, galacta knight, but then has so many memories of adline (I probably misspelt it) and chooses to summon her, then it cuts to her having a tough time enjoying painting anymore, then a door appears and she walks through it, entering the dream palace where Kirby and the rest are!

Kirby 64 was my favourite for game play but I like Dream Land 3 better overall. I really enjoyed the art style and being able to play with a friend.

Paint Roller has the exact same power, has been around since the first Kirby game, and has made a lot more appearances in both the games and cartoons.

What game are the monsters in the background from? And did Adeline create those hominids in the back, or did BM leave the lobby unattended again?
