Remember when I added Greninja to the line-up of cool characters and then he was in Smash Bros? This is the gag we were leading up to. That's gotta hurt.

We'll be taking a break for the Holidays so catch us again next year. We may upload some holiday filler so keep an eye out.

Also if you're looking for a game to put you in the Holiday Spirit, I recommend Marvin's Mittens, an adorable platformer about a kid looking in the snow for his lost mitten with the help of magical elves. Happy Holidays everyone.

I tried messing around with the backgrounds here a little bit
I'm generally satisfied with how it came out, but I wish I could have something a bit cooler with Panel 3.

Other than that, two words
bottom lighting.
GigaNerd17 edit delete
To celebrate the end of finals week, I did a fancy background for Panel 1! Here's the original graphic for comparison.

The logical fallacies of having a tongue scarf, part one.

I really like the shading and lighting style here. It's almost Batman-esque, which is what I'm assuming you were going for. It's so good, I love it, now I remember why you're the colorist Box.
TheMightyBox edit delete
Thanks man,
didn't know that was in question...
DryKirby64 edit delete
I mean, like, compared to the coloring I did on my last few.

You get the idea. It was a failed compliment.

Master Moron
I'm hoping there weren't any bird droppings on that street lamp.
Anyway, it's great that you're here! I remember reading a few of these comics from ONM, so it's great to see you're still updating!

And no one needed to triple dog dare Greninja to do that either.

Hope Greninja's home for the holidays! Also, how would a tongue scarf warm someone?
Iamabrawler edit delete reply
Well, Nurse Chansey still has her sweater. Nice continuity there!
dzamie edit delete reply
Kinda dark. Greninja *did* just hang himself.
Guybrush20X6 edit delete reply
No, he's just hanging around. Pokemon can survive meteors to the face so I doubt a little pressure to the neck would trouble them.

He probably gets his tongue pulled a bit more often than that. His throat has some breath going through there, I guarantee it.
Melting the pole with fire is probably a good option IMO.
When I read your post on the BitForums, you had me thinking the obvious: Yoshi. But this was better than anything I could have hoped for.

Molten metal against a bare tongue?
Bad idea.
The best thing to do is to melt the ICE on the pole to release the tongue.
If they could get a Charizard in there they wouldn't even have to cut down the pole or get a ladder.
Blueflamingo (Guest) edit delete reply
Forget melting the lamp, just heat it up until his saliva thaws. I would rather burn my tongue then hope that Nurse I-don't-know (how to spell Alduno) intends to use that hacksaw on the light post. Besides, Greninja is a water type (provided he hasn't used an Ice type move recently) he will survive.
Terraform Trent (Guest) edit delete reply
That's pretty much what I was saying.
Heck, just give Greninja a lighter and he'll be loose soon.

Although, it would be a good idea to set up a net below... him/her/it.

Come on Greninja. Don't grab stuff that you don't know where it's been.

Seems like Greninja's method of locomotion is a pretty great way to get mono or something.
Koopario edit delete reply
In an alternate universe, a Shy Guy convinced Yoshi to pretty much attempt this exact same thing. He succeeded, but then someone got the bright idea of face-screening Mario near one of these things. He hit the pole, and one thing led to another.
Kemix (Guest) edit delete reply
Pffft. Silly Greninja. You should have known better than that.

Where I live, NOBODY has this problem... probably because it's 80 degrees in the middle of December, but still! And on a side note I recently discovered an interesting little indie game being developed called "A Hat in Time" and I'm just putting it out there that researching it made me realize something: I tend to become obsessed over games I haven't even played. I wondered if it was just me but my friend does it too! If you have some sort of psychological explanation for this that'd be nice but I realize you might not actually psychiatry that heavily.
N (Guest) edit delete reply
While I don't know about anything involving psychology officially, I do spend a lot of time thinking about why I think the way I do, and it just so happens I do the same, so I may be able to shine some light onto why you obsess over unreleased games.
Perhaps it's because before a game is released, the possibilities are limitless, which means it can be exactly however you want it based on what is revealed/what you have seen. At least that is why I think I love to follow unreleased games. If I failed to convey what I meant, think of it as you see nothing wrong, so you'll like the game and can't wait to play it.
Not sure if I'm explaining it right or even if this applies to you, but I hope that helped.
Guest (Guest) edit delete reply
Well I meant games I never played in general, but that still helped. Thank you!:)

That's what you get for making all the Mewtwo fans sad.

Happy New Year, dudes!

My predictions for the year?

* Gallade will continuously try to hook up with Gardevour, to no avail.

* Gardevour finally sees a shrink, turns out it looks exactly like her hallucination.

*Roll gets an upgrade and goes on a rampage as a result.

*Kratos finds an anger buddy in Asura. the entire city is razed.
Hurricane edit delete reply
I would love to see Roll attack Call as a part of that rampage. They introduced tenseness between the characters and then one never appears again. :(
Zanreo edit delete reply
Hahaha, that sure is unfortunate...
pizzaplatinum edit delete reply
Wait, wouldn't Greninja's tongue be a noose at this point? Would explain his blank... expression. :P
