It's been a stressful week. I got reports to and there's Smash 4 rosters floating around the Net, I'm just glad to be able to put the next part of the comic up.
Also I didn't know this scenario actually happened in a Trauma center game. It's to surgery what Pheonix Wright is to law.

game grumps just started a trauma center:second opinion and now stiles appears in LVL30PSY?
24th Aug 2014, 2:54 PM
Wait, do they even need a surgeon? If 1-up mushrooms fixed the hole in Wilco's chest, why don't they just get larger shipments of those? And use them on someone other than Wilco?
24th Aug 2014, 3:09 PM
1-ups can fix someone back to the way they were before but if they have a dodgy heart it won't help much.
24th Aug 2014, 5:58 PM
i always wanted to know: to whom the red speech box in panel 3 belongs? iv'e seen it in the comic before, but i never knew who says it.
24th Aug 2014, 5:59 PM
It's the narrator from Space Quest. He'd always make fun of you when you died. It appears a bit more in earlier ones.
24th Aug 2014, 6:09 PM
He? I've always perceived the text box as female.
24th Aug 2014, 7:00 PM
You've never watched Space Quest 4 or 6 then?
Let me fix that.
25th Aug 2014, 5:21 PM
huh. suspected it was GLADOS
31st Aug 2014, 7:31 PM
GladOS would never allow them to stash up on 1-ups. Besides roll is running the show here, while GladOS is still fooling around at appature.
20th Sep 2014, 5:14 PM
If it was GladOS then there would be way more neurotoxins and way less living....
24th Aug 2014, 7:20 PM
Hold it, that's not a fair test patient (since I bet even the best doctor can't save him)
26th Aug 2014, 8:44 AM
Yes, he is a fair test patient.
Okay, sure, the best doctor can't stop him from dying. That's true. I agree.
However, NO doctor can save you from a bullet hole through your entire head. What kills Wilco tends to be instantly fatal, not surgical.
26th Aug 2014, 12:05 PM
If there's one thing Roger is good at, it's not leaving anything to burry.
31st Aug 2014, 7:34 PM
I don't get it; I give him morfine but the pain just increases. And the flashlight apparently emits heliumcores instead of fotons. Oh now I get it. Those stupid guys on the factory mixed up the sendings. I'm sorry I can't save him. Damn bad luck that this hould happen to todays medical equipment.

This must be Derek before he had his Matrix time stop lessons :P
24th Aug 2014, 9:47 PM
Woo! i was right!
Ofc Derek COULD have saved wilco: had he had enough syringes. :P
24th Aug 2014, 10:15 PM
One-Ups: Apparently, a mystery for rational people who live in game universes where death is final. Even though the world has become a multi-crossover.
Is this hospital one of the only places to take full advantage of that?
EDIT: On the other hand, if the cast of Trauma Center got their hands on 1-Ups, there would be no plot for them anymore, right? (Or at the very least, it would give them plenty of chances to try again until they succeed...)
24th Aug 2014, 11:34 PM
Meh, he still kinda needs Angie with him to be honest...
27th Aug 2014, 7:42 AM
Hey! What's wrong with Phoenix Wright?! Ace Attorney is awesome!
...Maybe not realistic, but still awesome!
(Referring to the Author Post)
Also, I'm not really getting the punchline. Fish-oil?
29th Aug 2014, 2:37 AM
The joke is that in the Trauma Center games, death is final; it IS a surgery game after all. The concept of 1-Ups would definitely clash with their universe. Roger's "fish-oil" comment is just an aside.
29th Aug 2014, 4:08 AM
In relation to the Fish Oil, after looking at the Wiki on Fish Oil (to confirm that I was correct):
High Blood Pressure is one of the 3 conditions that the US National Institutes of Health highly recommends Fish Oil for. As such, it can be summarised that Fish Oil has a Blood Pressure lowering effect. In other words, Rodger's saying that he died that quickly because his Blood Pressure was lower than usual, which made him die faster.
29th Aug 2014, 5:12 AM
Then where do all of those bloody deaths come from? Just look at Comic 12: Displays of Infection! Clearly something was wrong with that fish-oil...
30th Aug 2014, 1:14 AM
It's been a while since then. He's probably taken it up in the meantime in the hope that lower blood pressure would mean less mess for him to clean up post-resurrection.
30th Aug 2014, 4:01 AM
I don't think that that would work, FourOfFour. Lower Blood Pressure doesn't mean that there's less blood, and the blood he has is likely to flow easier.
Of course, having a Higher Blood Pressure could, equally, mean that the blood sprays easier from the initial wound, so it's really up to the Wilko.
31st Aug 2014, 4:45 AM
I know it wouldn't be less blood, but it would be less likely to spray all over the walls. I think only mopping blood would be relatively easy
10th Sep 2014, 12:21 PM
Clearly, you've never had to mop up blood.
Wait... forget I said that...
30th Sep 2014, 10:42 PM
I think Derek would actually be a good choice for the group. He's supposedly a good surgeon. He's just not interesting enough as a character for the comedy parts (read:most) of the comic.
Also Healing Touch lel.
