With Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire coming out soon I thought we'd better do this comic in case Game Freak does a Game Freak and takes out game features for no determinable reason.

Super Training is honestly one of the better things to happen to Pokemon. Now you don't have to be at the mercy of the random number god to make sure your Pokemon isn't bogged down with useless attack stats when you wanna focus on specials.

Believe it or not, Mario and Luigi's Mustaches have their own stat in the Mario & Luigi series. It's basically the Luck stat of other games with the bonus of store discounts for high 'stache stats. But if mustaches give you discounts in Mushroom Kingdom stores why doesn't every Toad have one? Toadsworth shows they can grow them and quite a few minor ones have facial hair so it's not like Peach makes it illeagal for all except her servants/saviors to have them.

I had a lot of trouble with this one. I've never drawn Sonic characters before, and they look so...off model. CURSE YOUR DECEPTIVELY DIFFICULT TO DRAW CHARACTER DESIGN!!!!

Besides that, I also fail at drawing Kratos. At least in this case I have the excuse of never playing a God of War game.

On the bright side, at least he doesn't have to do meaningless tasks for chilli dogs anymore.... Actually, why does he have to do that anyway? Couldn't he just pay for them like everyone else? And it's not like Rings aren't an accepted currency, since he can buy pretty much everything else with them. Maybe those Hot Dog Men just like to see Sonic suffer....

Gosh, I remember the Stache stat. That's quite funny to imply that their luck passes by their mustache. In the second installment, where they are getting help from their baby selves, the babies also have the Stache stat.
Also, in the third installment, Bowser's Inside Story, Bowser's luck is determined by... his horns.

Now Sonic will need to learn how to shave. Well, at least he's a bit luckier than before right now.

I don't think anyone would mind of Super Training was removed. Horde battles are much, much faster to train EVs.

Well, aside from the reset bags. They'd have to give us a replacement for those.

Was my reaction to finding out that a 'Stache stat existed... XD

'Stache stat is the best stat. Definitely.

So I'm missing part of the joke here. What would've happened if Sonic had punched Kratos instead? (Never played God of War)

That's left up to your imagination.

Sonic with a Gotee, or God-Killing "edgy" Sonic?
I before A except after K (Guest) edit delete reply
All right. In that case, I choose to believe that it'd make him turn back into the were-hog.

I know it's not related, but I would start a comic if my drawing didn't suck so bad

My drawing sucks all kinds of eggs and I made a comic. Get to it!

@ Guybrush on the 'stache Stat Bonus: Actually, I think that I can make why they 'stache stat ONLY works for Mario & Luigi.

Basically, the stat's NOT about how impressive their Moustache is. It's about how effective THEY are at making OTHER people (such as Toads) believe that they're Mario & Luigi. A low 'stache stat results in Toads thinking "Just an imitator" based on the fact that their Moustache is unkept, while a high 'stache stat results in Toads thinking "Holy *BEEP* on a Stick! Mario and/or Luigi in MY STORE! Quick, give them a discount so that they're more likely to come back!"

Wow... That makes a Wailord's worth of sense.

And I mean that literally.
Koopario(needs to log on) (Guest) edit delete reply
And thus the 'Stache stat was born.
Wait...what about critical hits?
Oh wait the 'staches may be so darn shiny enemies get blinded and have no chance to block.
Darius Drake (Guest) edit delete reply
Honestly, there is no excuses for ANY type of "Luck" stat doing anything like Critical Hits. However, if you want me to shoehorn it in...

With a neat Moustache, Mario & Luigi feel more comfortable. When they feel more comfortable, they're more likely to be focusing on the fight than on how uncomfortable their Moustache is. Thus, when they have a high 'stache stat, they are more likely to notice enemy's weakpoints & thus more likely to HIT their enemy's weakpoints.

Ok, now I have two piles of worth, each the size of a wailord.

What do you expect me to do with all this worth?!
PTpirahna edit delete reply
Here's how it works. So if an enemy sees Mario going to stomp on him, he is going to go like "Better defend myself!" If Mario has a better stache stat, then the enemy is like "WOAH, THAT'S AN AWESOM-*stomp*

I don't know? Use it to buy me the tile "Official Shoehorner" or the title "Craftman of Logical Mislogic"?

I tried trading all that worth in for money. Turns out it was only worth $60.

I bought myself a copy of Mario Kart 8.
Darius Drake (Guest) edit delete reply
So what you're saying is that a "Wailord's worth of sense" is worth US$30. Honestly, that's more than what I thought it would be worth.

this stat should be added to the game
Mokha the Sylveon (Guest) edit delete reply
@Guybrush: According to Mario Golf: Advance Tour, Toadsworth's mustache is fake. However, you may be correct, as game series occasionally contradict themselves. Then again, more Toads probably should wear/grow mustaches, seeing how they idolize Mario and Luigi.
